Overview
This Warranty Policy explains the protections that apply to items purchased from Quitman Appliances. It covers your statutory rights as a consumer, any additional manufacturer warranty that may apply to a product, and the steps to take if you believe an item you purchased is faulty.
Statutory warranty
All goods sold by Quitman Appliances are covered by the statutory warranty for defects. If an item you receive is faulty — meaning it does not match its description, is not fit for its intended purpose, or otherwise fails to meet the quality you would reasonably expect — you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the circumstances and to the extent permitted by law, this may include repair, replacement, a price reduction, or a refund.
This statutory protection exists independently of any manufacturer warranty and is not affected by it. It applies automatically to your purchase and does not require separate registration.
Manufacturer warranty
Where a product carries an additional manufacturer warranty, it applies for 2 years from the date of purchase, on top of your statutory rights described above. This manufacturer warranty typically covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise under normal use during the warranty period.

Reporting a fault
If you believe a product you purchased is defective, please contact us at contact@quitmanappliances.com as soon as possible. To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include the following in your message:
- Your order number
- A clear and precise description of the fault
- Photos of the issue, where possible
Once we receive your report, we will review the details and get back to you promptly to arrange the appropriate remedy.
